Breakdown or accident
If anyone is hurt or in danger, get to a safe place and call the emergency number first: 999 in the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain; 911 in Saudi Arabia and Jordan; 112 in Kuwait; 9999 in Oman.
Breakdown:
1. Pull over safely and switch on hazard lights. Stay with the car if it is safe to do so.
2. Call the rental company. They arrange roadside help or a replacement car; you never pay more for a replacement.
3. Add photos (warning lights, the dashboard, where the car is) to the trip.
Accident:
1. Report it to the police. A police report is needed for insurance, even for small accidents.
2. Call the rental company and tell them what happened and where the car is. Don't arrange repairs yourself.
3. Add photos of both cars, the plates, the scene and the police report.
On your trip page, Breakdown or accident has the company's number, Contact Karaj support and the photo upload. Your trip stays active and your deposit stays held; any damage is handled after the trip as a claim reviewed by Karaj, where you can answer with your own evidence.
